Navy personnel prepare Wednesday to raise the U.S. flag at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center at the request of retiring Chief Petty Officer John Jackson. Navy Tradition allows the flying of a personal flag at places with special meaning upon retirement. Jackson’s son Brandon was born premature at the hospital in 1996.
