Broncos part ways with GM Brian Xanders after three years in Denver
Barely a week after the NFL draft, the Broncos today and general manager Brian Xanders are parting ways, according to an NFL source. Xanders was in his fourth year in the position.

Meet the Denver Broncos’ 2012 NFL Draft picks
Broncos draftee Derek Wolfe may be a surprise to some analysts, but the 6-foot-5, 286-pound defensive tackle from Cincinnati said Friday night he was disappointed at not being selected in the first round a day earlier.
Acknowledging that some top college quarterbacks would be disappointed at having to sit on the bench early in their NFL career, Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler called Denver “a perfect fit” Friday night after the Broncos chose him with the 25th pick of the second round (No. 57 overall).
The Broncos moved up in the third round to nab San Diego State’s Ronnie Hillman with the fourth pick in the round, No. 67 overall. To move up, Denver sent Cleveland its pick in the third round (25th, No. 87 overall) and one of its three fourth-round picks (25th, No. 120 overall).
