Tomorrow is May 4th — Star Wars Day for many sci-fi fans. We’re looking for your best Star Wars-themed reader photos in anticipation, and to tide you over for the next 12 hours or so, we have a selection of some great stills from the trilogy (and a few from those other three), as well as fan photos, event photos and tons of … other stuff. This selection has been painstakingly inspected and is certified to be Jar Jar-free.

The traveling cast of the hit Broadway musical Wicked performed the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Denver’s Ogden Theatre Monday in a one-night-only event to benefit Broadway Cares, which raises funds for HIV/AIDS research and prevention.

Kodak ends naming deal with Hollywood Theater

One big name that likely won’t be at this year’s Oscars: Kodak.

The Eastman Kodak Co. received court approval Wednesday to end its sponsorship deal with the Hollywood theater that is the venue for the Academy Awards.

Kodak signed a $74 million deal for naming rights to the theater in 2000. But the struggling photography company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month and wanted to end its contract for naming rights of the glamorous Los Angeles theater as it tries to improve its finances.

Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music’s  queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use,  has died. She was 48.
Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unclear.

Night won’t fall on Fort Collins, Colo., drive-in anytime soon

Another outdoor movie season has come and gone, as have the usual offers for Wesley Webb to sell the Holiday Twin Drive-In.

“My wife and I, we kind of shrug it off,” said Webb, 80, whose 32nd season at the Holiday Twin wrapped over Labor Day weekend with “Cowboys and Aliens.”

Photos: Split rumored for Ashton and Demi

According to stories on StarMagazine.com and NYDailyNews.com, Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been living separately for months and are preparing for a divorce.

Rumors of Kutcher’s infidelity have focused on reports from TheDirty.com that the young star spent his anniversary with another (younger) woman. Moore and Kutcher were married on September 24, 2005.

Spielberg axed Megan Fox from “Transformers”

Turns out it was Steven Spielberg who booted Megan Fox from the “Transformers” film franchise.
Spielberg demanded the actress be fired from the latest Transformers film after she insulted director Michael Bay, comparing him to Hitler, says Bay.
Spielberg, who directed “Schindler’s List,” about a German businessman who saved the lives of more than a thousand mostly Polish-Jewish refugees by employing them in his factory during the Holocaust, was reportedly outraged by the insult.
