PHOTOS: Independence Eve Celebration in Civic Center Park in Denver 

The Independence Eve Celebration included a free Colorado Symphony concert, light show and fireworks display on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Denver’s Civic Center Park. The Civic Center Conservancy dedicates the event to honoring the remarkable Colorado spirit and encouraging the community to support wildfire relief efforts.

San Diego’s Big Bay Boom is being called a “Big Bay Bust” and “epic fail” on social media after a mishap caused all 17 minutes’ worth of fireworks to go off at once.
