“It is a miracle,” said Mandy Mercer as she rubbed the snout of Windsor, a creamy white gelding who is the brother of Thursday, the spitting image of their mother, Tuesday.
The brothers were born 11 months after the lab harvested eggs from Tuesday as she lay dying from injuries suffered in the Windsor, Colo., tornado on May 22, 2008.
