Photos and Video: A New Wearable Bionic Exoskeleton Designed As Alternative to Wheelchair

During a conference at Craig Hospital in Denver on July 25, Amanda Boxtel demonstrated a new experimental, wearable robot, or “exoskeleton,” designed as an alternative to a wheelchair.

The device is for patients with lower extremity paralysis and is being developed by Berkeley Bionics.
