Tiny libraries in front yards across Colorado inspire love of books 
When community activist Greg Rasheed first heard about tiny libraries popping up in front yards across America, he wanted to spark the trend in Denver.
He bought a bread box at Goodwill, filled it with books, put it in the front yard of his North City Park home and waited for folks to partake of his Little Free Library.
Soon enough, sanitation crews, construction workers and neighborhood kids were all grabbing books.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” readers face long wait at Colorado libraries
Want to borrow “Fifty Shades of Grey?”
It’s going to be a long, heart-pounding wait at the local library.
All 185 print, 50 eBook and 14 audio book copies of the first of volume of E.L. James’ adult erotic trilogy are checked out of the Denver Public Library and 1,424 people had placed holds by early Thursday afternoon. Those numbers are growing by the hour, library spokeswoman Jen Morris said.
